Reboot

I haven’t written online in years. Maintaining this site was too much on top of working and everything else. Not in terms of actual hours spent on maintenance (it’s a static site after all), but the mental burden of a site I wasn’t updating. I gave up and trashed it. I used to only write about technical stuff, so the site didn’t feel that valuable to me at the time.

I quit working as a salaried software engineer last month. I’m finally having a go at building my own company. Not just a consulting / freelance business, which always just turns into a salaried job for me, but a real, honest to god company. I’m not sure where it’s going but I figure there will be a lot more to talk about.

So here we are. I’ve resurrected this site. To keep it manageable, I’m not committing myself to any publishing cadence or real standards. It’s going to be pretty raw. Let’s see if that works.
